WHAT IS WHAT AND HOW DOES IT WORK?

Equipment is anything you need to do your job as a coach. Your team may need things like balls, cones, first aid kit, flags etc.

This is all paid for from subscription funds and you can order things via the clubwebshop throughout the year providing you have a minimum of 75% of subs received for your team and providing the club does not already have items in stock we wish to recycle through the teams.

Kit is what players wear and is funded either through the club (AFC top for new joiners to the U5, U6 and U7 age groups only) or via sponsors/parents per team/age group.

When joining CAFC as a coach and upon completion of safeguarding/DBS/First Aid courses, you will be able to order a club polo. This can be renewed, if needs be, every 3 years. Any other ‘gear’ you may want as a coach is either self-funded or through sponsorship.

ORDERING EQUIPMENT

Some collective items such as goals, corner flags, nets etc. will be bought and maintained centrally by the club, email kit@cavershamafc.co.uk if you feel the club needs any new communal items.

HOW TO ORDER

To do our bit for the planet and to save the club some money try and look after club property and equipment and only order what you really need.

Please note that the club will not approve any kit orders for teams until at least 75% of the team have paid their subscriptions.

CHECK OUT

From the Checkout screen ensure your details are correct (as these will be used to communicate and deliver to)

Payment type should be Send to Club Kit Manager (unless you are ordering for yourself or items not paid for by the club, in which case pay at checkout yourself).

You will need to tick the terms and conditions tick box above the Proceed with order option before selecting to proceed.

Then you will need to provide a reference so that we can better track the order. As a code convention please use letter “K” followed by the age group and the team name: K-AGEGROUP-TEAMNAME, example: K-U9-HAWKS, K-U17-RANGERS

You will get an email confirmation as soon as the order is saved and will get a further email once the order is approved (Remember – orders should not be placed until 75% of subs are collected). The order will be send to the address you have provided when registering.

Once the Courier has the order you will get an email and SMS to inform you of the delivery date and give you options to rearrange etc.

ORDERING KIT

Kit (shirt, socks and shorts) is best ordered well in advance of the season start as not always all sizes and colours are in stock.

Generally, the sponsorship buys new shirts every 2 seasons and socks and shorts depending on growth phase of the age group. Please note as of U13 you might require home and away shirts.

Kit should be funded either by parents or sponsorship. Do approach local businesses to ask for their support or parents who might work for a business willing to sponsor. Once you have sponsorship secured:

1. Email: sponsors@cavershamafc.co.uk
to add them to the club website. Please send the following:
- Name of sponsor
- Team(s) they are sponsoring
- Brief description of what they do/contact details etc.
- URL to their webpage.
- Image of their logo
2. Get the sponsor to transfer funds to the club. Contact treasurer@cavershamafc.co.uk for bank details and an invoice if your sponsor requires one (but note we do not offer VAT invoices!)
3. Ask for confirmation of sponsorship money received from treasurer@cavershamafc.co.uk and loop in kit@cavershamafc.co.uk to ensure the order can be processed once created
4. Create your kit order. The ordering process is the same as for ordering equipment (see above steps) and make sure you adhere to club rules. No names of players on shirts and shirts must have the CAFC logo. Home shirt is red and away shirt is blue as per options on the web shop only. During the ordering you can specify numbers, upload sponsor logo(s) etc.
5. Once ordered and the sponsorship logo is new, you will also need to approve the logo printing proof via email you will receive via kit@cavershamafc.co.uk
6. If you have followed the ordering process as described, you will get an SMS notification once the kit has been dispatched to you.
