1. Overview

Welcome to Caversham AFC, a grassroot club founded in 1970. We are an inclusive club with the aim of giving everyone the opportunity and facilities to participate in amateur football.

This manual has been put together to give coaches, parents and carers an understanding of different aspects of the club and grassroots football. It is particularly useful for coaches leading an age group, specifically the U5/6s, U7s and U8s.

We have mixed boys and girls teams (up to the age of 18) as well as girls only, ladies and mens teams.

The club is entirely run by volunteers and without your support there would be no club. THANK YOU!
