Registering your players

The full player registration process for next season does not start until June. However you should start adding players in readiness before this, if you can.

Log in to your Team Account & select Team List from the toolbar.

You can then "Register New Player". Add the:
- players name (this must match the proof of ID)
- gender
- date of birth
- parent / guardian's email address as a minimum then Save this information.

GotFootball then gives you the option to amend (Update) what you've just done, Add Another Player or Remove the player. Use this to add the others.

Once everyone is added I suggest you email the whole team from the toolbar, "Email Team" option. This allows you to add the player username & password to the message, by ticking the box, so that parents/guardians know how to log in to their own accounts.

This is important as once player registration is open the parent/guardian will need to log in to the player login:
- update contact information
- upload a passport size photo (the photo must be a headshot only as it's used on player registration cards.)
- provide evidence of age / place of birth
- electronically sign the Parent / Guardian consent form.

May be easier to take photo's of your own team and upload it yourself.

EBFA insist on following the strictest rules with regards international clearance. If any of your players were born outside of England (incl other UK nations) you'll need international clearance.

Once players have been added & the registration is open you need to keep an eye of progress of parents completing their bit. You can see who is cleared from your team list.

You can check the status by looking at the shirt number field:
- N- Registered on GotFootball but NOT registered on WGS
- X- Registered on GotFootball but needs registrations/submission to league on WGS
- R- Registered on GotFootball and registered on WGS

The Club is fined £6 for every late registration so you need to make sure all details are correct before 30th June. Fines are levied for those waiting international clearance even though it's outside of our control.

Check the player registration document for details of the error codes used by the EBFA.

Preferred Division
As managers/coaches you can select your own preferred division for next season's East Berks League.

To do this, log in to your Team Account, select Home & Overview.
This will show you your Event Registration History. Top of this list should be East Berks Football Alliance 20xx/xx.
Click on this & it will open a new page. You should see something similar to:

Choose your division from the drop down list.

The League will consider this when creating divisions dependent on the number of teams applying. You have the right to appeal if not happy before the season starts.
