Before the season

Club and Team application window: 1st - 31st May

You will need to register you players on BOTH
- GotFootball
and
- FA Whole Game system (WGS)

Please note that any player born outside of England will need to be granted International Clearance. This is required for them to be fully registered to the club and play games.

Allow 30 days from when you apply for the clearance to be granted. The EBFA will not approve player registrations without this being in place.

A player can only be registered and play for one team in the EBFA. You will need to complete a transfer form to switch teams - this is limited during a season.

You will need to have a Qualified First Aider (QFA) present at each game. Please ensure that you register to be a QFA. You will be required to enter their details in the post match reporting.

Before gameday

If you are unable to fulfill a fixture please contact the opposition team and the divisional secretary and see if it can be rescheduled. Failure to do so will result in a fine.

Home team
You are expected to share details for gameday with the opposition team. e.g. location, kick off time, referee, kit details, game card etc.

These can be found on the club website, that can be shared, or you can modify the match day guide document and email that over.

You should do this the weekend before the game.

You will be assigned a referee for the game. Both teams are expected to provide a person to run the line. Each team should pay half of the referee fee before the game kicks off.

You can reclaim referee expenses by sending details of the fees you have paid.

You can find the pitch and kick off time on the club website.

Away team
You should ensure that you receive and confirm receipt of the game day information as soon as you receive it. This is usually done over email. You should chase for details by Wednesday if you have not received anything.

Gameday

The EBFA require each team to inspect the player ID cards prior to the game. It is usual for the home team to switch tops in case of a clash but if you have an away kit that should be fine to use that.

ID cards are usually sent to the club before the start of the season begins. The card is sent to the team manager for mid season transfers, though you can print off the ID card that will be emailed while you wait for the card to arrive.
