Only once before in the clubs 44 year history has a team reached the SCML U18 final. This year our TWO U18 Teams in the SCML were in opposite sides of the draw. United progressed to the final with wins over Thatcham Town Blues, local rivals Rotherfield and a tense 3-2 win over AFC Hermatage in the semi. Kites route to the final saw them win against Thatcham Town Whites, Woodley Town and another close 2-1 win in the semi against Prospect Pumas.

Both teams field players who have represented Caversham AFC for over 10 years, many starting with U6 training back at Highdown School. In the two league fixtures this year the games have been exciting close encounters with end to end football. This is an unprecedented wonderful achievement and looks set to be a lasting memory and exciting day for the Managers/Coaches and boys involved.

Caversham AFC has around 600 registered boys and girls playing football in 35 teams this season. It would be great to see as many players/parents and coaches at the Madejski to cheer our boys on, enjoy the football, and add to the occasion.

Car Parking: Free for first 300 cars with a permit, £5 there after *
Turnstiles: open at 9.15am Gate 7 East Stand
