Caversham put in a good performance to secure a point at Bearwood Recreation Ground in Winnersh. Having caused early problems for Winnersh, Caversham were unlucky to find the themselves behind after a corner deflected into the net off a Caversham player. However, Caversham stuck to the task and got the game level with a brilliantly worked goal that saw 6 passes slot player of the match Daisy into position on the edge of the box. Daisy caught the shot perfectly and drilled the ball into the bottom corner for the equaliser and her second goal of the season. With the wind blowing over a boggy pitch it was hard work for both teams and Winnersh always looked dangerous up front. However superb defensive performances from Niamh, Leah, Grace and Martha ensured that Serena and Martha who shared goal keeping duties weren't tested too often. Winnersh will be disappointed not to have won the game in the second half, but Caversham probably carved out the better chances with Ruby, Daisy, Grace, Izzy and Tia taking control of midfield after an early injury to Helen forced her out of the game. Evie worked tirelessly up front, but couldn't quite find a winner. The draw takes Caversham to one defeat in 8 games as they prove hard to beat in the BCGFL.
