Caversham AFC played out an intense goalless draw with Tilehurst Panthers Colts in a fixture that was moved to Victoria Road recreation ground in Tilehurst as a result of Clayfield Copse still being water logged. Changing to a 3-4-1 formation, Caversham had the upper hand in the first half and only a brilliant double save by Tilehurst's excellent keeper kept the scores level after Evie used her pace to split the Tilehurst defense. In a game of few clear cut chances Caversham probably edged the better goal scoring opportunities, but were unable to really break down a well organised and hard working Tilehurst defense for the second week running. With the game being so physical and intense Tilehurst pressed really hard in the last 10 minutes to find a winner, but excellent defending from player of the match Grace supported by some committed tackling and defending by Niamh and Martha meant that Serena was rarely threatened seriously in goal and ensured Caversham left Tilehurst with a well deserved point.
