Sandhurst Town left Clayfield Copse with all three points in a deserved victory against Caversham. With illness requiring a changed defensive line-up, Caversham were caught napping early in the game when a speculative shot just sneaked passed Serena in goal. However, with Sandhurst demonstrating disciplined formation and passing, Caversham were left chasing the ball. Serena made amends with a couple of great saves to keep the score down to 1-0 at half time. All the Caversham players put in a fully committed performance, but the better chances continued to be made by Sandhurst after the break. Only an assured performance from Martha in goal for the second half and an outstanding defensive display by player of the match Olivia kept Caversham in touch. With injuries to players disrupting the play, Sandhurst found the killer goal through a well worked move half way through the second half and although Caversham continued to battle and occasionally looked dangerous on the break they never seriously troubled the Sandhurst keeper.
