Caversham AFC came from a goal down to earn a well deserved draw at Bearwood Recreation Ground against Winnersh Rangers Diamonds. There was little to choose between the teams as Isabel Hobby kept a first half clean sheet following committed defensive duties by Martha Crowland, Niamh Moore and Millie Staines. Up front Serena Whitehead, supported by Ruby Lethbridge and Daisy Mifflin created a number of chances to take the lead. The second half continued as a close and competitive game with Helena Short now leading the line. Winnersh took the lead midway through the second half, but with 5 minutes remaining Ruby Lethbridge found the equaliser that Caversham deserved. Both teams had chances to win the game at the end, but a late fine save by Millie Staines ensured the game finished all square.
